Denaploy was appointed by BASE, one of our valued regular clients,
to manage the documentation for this major stadium project as it passed through
last-minute changes and updates – an extremely challenging task that we
successfully completed.
Construction of the stadium commenced in 2015 and was
originally due for completion in 2018, however, safety and electrical issues
saw the opening delayed until April 2019. BASE was awarded the contract of
finishing off a large portion of the 62,062-seat asymmetrical stadium – the
largest club stadium in London. MACE was the lead contractor for the entire
project, STACE was BASE's CDM and BASE was Denaploy's client.
This unique stadium features the world's first divided,
retractable football pitch that has an underlying synthetic turf pitch for
multiple uses such as other sports and concerts, along with a host of support
facilities.
Having successfully completed the documentation
for BASE, Denaploy has been able to provide digital, detailed information on
the construction of this major structure for its operators. At last count,
Denaploy's easily accessible O&M manual for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
comprised 3000 documents organised into 400 files, totaling 3GB of data.
But that is just the start, there was also the main offices, the Paxton ticket office, the Tottenham Experience, the Skywalk and the wonderful practice ground. It is such a pleasure to follow a really high-quality construction and our RiDR system is available so that all the detailed information across all these projects is instantly available at the fingertips of the maintenance staff.
